Olivia, Thanks for sharing about this word today. When we were walking home I was struggling to find words to encourage you (regarding your speak). Sorry I didn't encourage you in that moment. Your purity of heart was evident in what you said and the Lord was pleased.
I know exactly what you mean. We need to go 'beyond the brook' but most of us prefer to live in Gethsemane... as I once read somewhere... I'd be unstoppable if I could get going :-)
I wonder if that's the only place to dwell... The nature of the world and the enemy seems to be such that every day, every moment we have to make a choice between the flesh and the spirit. If I could decide once to follow Christ and never have to make that decision again I'd be delighted, unfortunately it doesn't seem to work like that for me.
